Anthony has worked over 18 years in the capital projects development, municipal/tribal management and the consulting field, and has committed the last ten years to developing the systems to effectively manage virtual project teams with a particular emphasis on integrating members from rural Alaska. Anthony is recognized as one of the leading experts on municipal and tribal management as well as capital projects fundraising in Alaska, and pioneered the municipal-tribal merger in Quinhagak, Alaska. Angela has been writing, reviewing and managing grants for over 11 years, with over 15 years in budget, program, and project development as well as process implementation. As the Training & Technical Assistance Manager, she travels around Alaska teaching Project Development, Pre-Application and Post-Award Training. She also provides distance and on-site assistance to aide in application development and project success. Kathy was born and raised in Alaska and for the last 19+ years her primary focus has been in construction and federal government cost accounting systems, directed toward auditing accounting needs and creating systemic changes which increase efficiency, accuracy and standardization. Kathy has organized and set-up accounting programs and processes compliant with generally accepted accounting principles and DCAA approved accounting procedures. She excels at helping businesses streamline financial information forms and systems, produce financial statements, year-end close out procedures, in addition to setting up and administering payroll, 401k, and health benefits. Kathy has also reviewed business plans from various Alaska Regional tribes for financial sustainability and overall feasibility.

Technical Assistance Manager, Tim Anderson
Tim is Sugpiaq and has over 15+ years working with several nonprofit organizations including founding, managing, expanding programs and services, and serving as various board of director positions. His specialties include providing training and technical assistance in small rural communities. He also has extensive experience in cross-cultural communications, employment, and education services. Tim is an accomplished public speaker, presenter, trainer and writer.

Richard is Athabascan and Yup’ik. He has worked with Native nonprofits since 2005, including Southcentral Foundation and Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. Beginning as a GED instructor for a Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program and later managing education, career and job search services led him to work as a grant writer. With experience in public relations and more recently as a freelance writer for a local newspaper and Alaska magazines, he is passionate about sharing the diverse stories of Alaska Native people—both for entertainment and practical purposes such as grant writing. Richard has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Applied Ethics from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is a co-founding member of Dark Winter Productions, an ensemble theater group promoting Native stories for the stage, and supporting playwrights, directors, and actors. His goal is to support organizations through effective collaboration, which is culturally appropriate and serves the Native community.
